1.Who is responsible

Unite Padel is operated by Unite Padel Ltd (company number 17453807), registered in England and Wales, with registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Unite Padel Ltd is the data controller responsible for your information. You can reach us at hello@unitepadel.com about anything on this page.

2.What we collect

Depending on how you use Unite, we collect account and profile details; saved venues; Games, join requests and Looking to Play choices; Plays, evidence, verification and dispute records; social connections, blocks and reports; venue claims and corrections; beta feedback; notification choices; share cards; and the messages and contact details you submit to us.

If you allow analytics, we also collect first-party product events with random pseudonymous visitor and session identifiers. While you are signed in, those events can include your Unite user id. Analytics never contains passwords, message contents, search text, precise coordinates or Turnstile tokens.

3.Unite accounts

A Unite account is optional — you can search, browse venues and use booking links without one. If you create an account we store your email address and sign-in credentials through our authentication provider, and, if you choose to sign in with Google, the basic account details Google returns (email address and name).

Your player profile holds only what you enter: a username, an optional display name, an optional home town or city, and optional preferences such as playing level, preferred side, languages spoken and whether distances are shown in miles or kilometres. We do not ask for or store your home address or your precise location. Everything on your profile is private by default; nothing is published unless you turn a visibility setting on.

We store the venues you save so your favourite courts follow you across devices.

To keep you signed in, we store a first-party authentication session on your device. This is essential to the account working and is not used for advertising or for tracking you across other websites.

With analytics consent, product events use pseudonymous visitor and session identifiers and may include your internal user id while you are signed in. They do not contain your email address, username or profile text.

5.Confirmed plays and your Padel Passport

If you are signed in, we may later ask whether you actually played at a venue you clicked through to. Answering is entirely optional. When you confirm a visit we store a play record: the date you tell us you played, when you confirmed it, and a snapshot of the venue at that moment (its name, Unite venue reference, town or city, country and the venue's own coordinates). We do not store your email address, username or any browsing session identifier on these records, and we never record your own location.

Confirmed plays build your Padel Passport. In this release your Passport is private: only you can see it, and nothing about it is published or shared. Clicking a booking button alone never creates Passport history — only your own confirmation does, and a confirmation is your statement that you played, not something Unite has verified with the venue or booking platform.

You can delete your account yourself at any time from your account page, under Account → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and permanent: it removes your profile, your handle and public page, your saved courts, your Looking to Play signals, any interest you expressed in playing with someone, your join requests, your Passport and every public share card you created, so no personally attributable Unite page about you stays online. Games you organise are cancelled and removed. Historic booking click and play records are kept in anonymised form for venue and country level reporting, with the link to your account removed so they are no longer associated with you; the same applies to any report you submitted, which is retained as factual moderation history without your identity. You can also email hello@unitepadel.com to ask for a copy of your account data or to have it corrected.

6.Open games and Looking to Play

If you create or join an open game we store the venue, date, time, format, capacity, the description you write and who has asked or been accepted to play. Other players see the game and the handle and display name of the organiser and accepted players — never email addresses. If you ask to join a game, the organiser sees your handle and your request.

Looking to Play is opt in. When you signal that you want to play we store the area you chose as a deliberately coarse, rounded location — never a precise coordinate and never your address — plus the date, the time window, your approximate level and how far you are willing to travel. Other players are only ever shown a compatible match, not a directory: matching requires both people to be looking at overlapping times within each other's chosen distance, and contact only becomes possible when both sides express interest. Anonymous demand summaries for an area are hidden entirely unless at least three players are involved. Signals expire automatically, and you can cancel one at any time.

If you block someone, we store that choice so neither of you sees the other's games, profile or availability. Blocks are private to you. If you report a player or a game, we store what you reported and why so we can review it; the person reported is never shown who reported them.

7.Feedback

You can send us feedback at any time. We store your message, the page you were on, your browser type, language and screen size so that we can reproduce problems, and — if you are signed in — a reference to your account so we can follow up. We never record passwords, sign-in tokens, cookies or the contents of other forms. Feedback goes to the Unite team only and is never published anywhere on Unite.

8.Achievements and share cards

Passport achievements are worked out from your confirmed plays and are private to your account. Nothing is published when you earn one.

Sharing is always something you choose. When you create a share card we store a fixed snapshot of only the details needed for that card — your Passport totals, or an achievement name and date, or a venue name, town/city, country and play date — plus your handle if you tick the box to include it. That snapshot is published at a random, unguessable link and shows nothing else: never your email address, never your location, never your booking clicks, and never any other play in your Passport. Sharing one card never makes your Passport public. You can remove any share link at any time in your account, after which the page stops working.

With analytics consent, we measure the type of shared card viewed and whether a visitor tapped through. These events use the same pseudonymous analytics identifiers described below and do not contain the creator's email, handle or Passport data.

9.Usage measurement

If you consent, we record first-party events such as searches, results shown, venue views, account activation, Games and Play actions, progression and sharing actions, and outbound link clicks. Random visitor and 30-minute session identifiers help us understand journeys and return visits. Signed-in events may carry your internal user id. We use this to improve Unite and understand whether features work, not for advertising, profiling across other services or automated decisions.

We intend to retain raw analytics for no longer than 24 months. An automated purge is not yet active, so this is currently a retention objective rather than an automated guarantee. We will review and delete older raw data before it exceeds that period. Account deletion removes the user-id link from retained analytics without adding a replacement identifier.

10.Cookies and browser storage

Necessary storage keeps the site working and secure: your sign-in session, language choice, cookie choice and short-lived security state. It does not require consent. Analytics storage is optional and stays off unless you accept it. Refusing analytics does not limit the core service, and withdrawal deletes the browser's analytics identifiers and stops future capture. We load no advertising or marketing trackers. You can accept, refuse or change any optional choice at any time on our cookie preferences page.

11.Location

Unite can show courts near you. Your browser or app asks for permission only after you choose the location action. A current reading is used to run or sort that search; there is no background tracking, geofencing or location history. We do not put precise device coordinates into analytics. You can decline and search by place name instead.

12.Notifications

If you turn on notifications in the app, we store the notification token your device issues and the categories you have chosen, so that we can send only what you asked for. You can switch categories off in the app, or revoke notifications entirely in your device settings.

13.Age

Unite Padel is not designed or intended for children. A minimum age for holding an account is being finalised with professional advice and will be stated here before Unite Padel is opened to the public.

15.Processors and international transfers

We use service providers for managed database and authentication, website hosting, transactional email and support email. These currently include Supabase services provided through our hosting platform, Lovable for hosting and deployment, Resend for email, Microsoft 365 for correspondence, and Google when you choose Google sign-in. Native push notifications, when enabled, use Expo and the Apple or Google delivery service.

Cloudflare Turnstile protects public claim, report, venue-submission and beta-feedback forms from automated abuse. Cloudflare may process IP address, browser and device signals to decide whether a challenge is needed. Unite receives the result token for server-side verification, does not store the token or raw IP address, and never exposes its secret key.

Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data protection law requires it, we use an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards. You may contact us for further information about relevant safeguards.

16.Retention and sharing

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, legal claims, security and record-keeping. Account-controlled content is removed or detached when you delete your account as described above. Reports, disputes, verification and claims may be retained as proportionate factual moderation or compliance records. Raw analytics has the 24-month objective described under Usage measurement.

Information about a venue may be shared with that venue where necessary to verify a claim or correction. Game and profile information is shared according to the visibility and participation choices described above. We otherwise share information with processors, where legally required, or to protect users and the service.

17.Your rights and choices

Under UK data protection law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information, object to processing, receive portable information and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. You can change analytics consent in Cookie preferences and can delete your Unite account from your account page.

To exercise a right, email hello@unitepadel.com. We may need to verify your identity. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, and we would welcome the chance to address your concern first.

Effective 11 September 2026. This notice reflects the current Unite Padel service and is updated when our data practices change.
